Jan Norbert Dubrowin studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Łódź (now the Academy of Fine Arts). He earned his diploma in unique textile design and painting in 1981. Since then, he has actively participated in numerous local exhibitions and has showcased his work in solo and group exhibitions both in Poland and internationally. Some of the notable locations where his work has been displayed include Rzeszów, Tarnów, Poznań, Nowy Sącz, Kalisz, Sieradz, Bielsko-Biała, Radom, Warsaw, Łódź, Toruń, Bełchatów, Kostroma, Esslingen, Girona, Rivne, and Prague.

Dubrowin has also been involved in many painting workshops and post-workshop exhibitions, earning several awards and distinctions for his work. He is an active participant in the cultural life of his city and artistic community. In 2006, to mark his 25th anniversary of creative work, he was honored with the “Bronze Medal for Meritorious Service to the City of Piotrków Trybunalski.”

Jan Dubrowin’s dedication to his craft and his contributions to the art world have made him a prominent figure in the cultural landscape of Poland.
